ecomaine announces Finalists for 2023 Upcycle Challenge
ecomaine has announced three finalists for its school-based Upcycle Challenge, which will award $500 to a participating student’s school. Finalists include overall challenge winners from 2022 and 2021 facing off with a newcomer in 2023.

ecomaine, Maine’s leader in single-sort recycling and sustainable waste management, has announced ecofest, its Earth Day celebration of sustainability in waste management.
ecomaine requests proposals for waste diversion grants in Maine schools
ecomaine has launched its call for schools in its member communities to propose projects focused on waste diversion for up to $5,000 in funding for the 2023-24 school year. Projects that focus on waste reduction or reuse, recycling, or composting are eligible for consideration for awards from the total pool of $30,000. The deadline for proposals is Friday, May 12, 2023.
