Solid Waste Infrastructure Engineer

The Solid Waste Infrastructure Engineer provides technical leadership to ensure ecomaine’s landfill operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with its Operating License and all applicable State of Maine and Federal environmental regulations. This role leads engineering design, regulatory interpretation, technical analysis, and infrastructure development for landfill systems including cells, liners, leachate, stormwater, and gas management. In addition to landfill responsibilities, the Solid Waste Infrastructure Engineer also supports engineering needs across all ecomaine facilities including Recycling and Waste to Energy (WTE) - by providing technical expertise, design review, and project support as required.

HR/Payroll Specialist

ecomaine is seeking a detail-oriented HR/Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing while supporting a wide range of Human Resources functions. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth payroll operations, delivering excellent employee support, and ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws and regulatory requirements. As part of the HR team, you will assist with onboarding, benefits administration, employee recordkeeping, and day to day HR support. This position also provides operational support to scale house activities, including transaction accuracy, reconciliation, and customer service.

ecomaine is seeking a skilled Instrumentation & Controls (I & C) Technician to join our Maintenance team. This high-level technical role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the instrumentation and control systems that support operations across our waste-to-energy facility, single-sort recycling facility, and landfill.
