    ecomaine is proud to be part of this year's celebration! Stop by our table at the Saco Community Center at the start of the day to pick up recycling resources, meet our education team, and learn about the sustainable waste programs available to Saco residents. At the end of the cleanup, we'll be weighing the trash collected from parks, trails, and open spaces across the city so volunteers can see the real impact their community made together.

  • Brunswick Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day

    Each year Brunswick hosts two household hazardous waste collection days for residents to dispose of these materials safely and conveniently.

    One of these collection days will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 9am-1pm at Brunswick Public Works.

    You must pre-register beginning April 6, 2026 at 8:00 AM. Visit Brunswickme.gov for more information.

    The Annual Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Drop Off Days for 2026 are as follows:

    Scarborough: Saturday, May 9th, 2026 (8 am - Noon) at 20 Washington Ave, Scarborough
    Saco: Saturday, July 11th, 2026 (8 am - Noon) at 15 Phillips Spring Road, Saco
    Biddeford: Saturday, September 12th, 2026 (8 am - Noon)  at 371 Hill Street, Biddeford

    Scarborough residents are welcome to participate in all three HHW Days at no cost. Proof of residency is required.
