ecomaine on Maine Public Radio’s Maine Calling

The ecomaine Team
Published: March 5, 2021 | Last Updated: March 5, 2021

On Friday, March 5, ecomaine‘s CEO Kevin Roche participated in an hour-long conversation on Maine Public Radio’s statewide call-in program, Maine Calling, on the issue of landfill diversion and the impact of recycling in Maine.

Kevin was joined by Paula Clark of the Maine Department of Environmental Protection and Sarah Nichols from the Natural Resources Council of Maine, along with host Keith Shortall. The conversation ranged from recycling markets and accessibility to waste-to-energy, and from the makeup of Maine’s solid waste to legislative priorities designed to promote the state’s solid waste hierarchy.

The program can be streamed at Maine Calling’s site.
