Due to uncertainty related to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as shortages in rental equipment, electronic waste vendors and labor, ecomaine has reached the sad decision to cancel its 2021 Open House.
However, the event is being planned for 2022 and will be back better than ever, with recycling bin giveaways, tours and recycling education, exhibitors, activities, and much more!
“We’re really disappointed that we won’t be able to welcome 1,500 of our closest friends and advocates this year,” said Matt Grondin, Communications Manager at ecomaine. “If there had been one or two challenges, we likely could have overcome them, but with planning for the event taking place in a still-uncertain pandemic environment, combined with shortages in equipment and vendors, we reached the tough decision to make this the best possible event in 2022.”
